On behalf of all the family I want to convey our sincere thanks to you. Mum’s burial was a very special and wonderful occasion. The site is simply perfect and the service you provided to us was welcoming, friendly, caring, reassuring and sensitive. Comments from all the family who attended the burial were universally full of praise for the site and indeed the whole concept of natural burial. We will all be regular visitors.

So happy with Dalton as a final resting place. It feels like a priveledge to be interred here. Traditional funerals can feel ‘corporate’ this one was truly personal.

Thanks again for all your support with the burial and also for providing such a beautiful resting place for my Dad. It’s very much appreciated. I look forward to visiting in the years to come.

Great site, very accessible including a circular walk around the forest / woodland. Very peaceful place and Francis couldn’t have been more helpful.

Very quiet and can visit from sun up to sundown; feels at one with nature.

Dalton is an exceptional place. The fact that we could have a christian service there made it perfect. We would not have chosen it if the service had to be secular.

Overall a really positive experience. A very special, unique and naturally beautiful place to return to in future years. Thank you!

We would just like to say thank you for today. We have left our Mother in a place she would have loved to explore…  Mum loved nothing better than the weather, especially wild weather, and would have loved the sound of the wind in the trees and the birds singing all around.  Today was a sad day but a special day because we were able to fulfil our Mother’s wishes. Thank you for making it possible with your beautiful, peaceful woodland setting.

This site is perfect for my husband and myself (I have booked the adjacent grave site for myself) and was a gentle place to ‘hold’ the family in their grief and enable us to conduct the ceremony we wished which was beautiful. The burial ground were completely supportive of everything that we as a family felt it was important to do. We chose not to use funeral directors and wanted complete involvement including dressing the deceased, leaving personal (biodegradable) items in the woven coffin (using British sustainably sourced willow made personally for him), carrying him ourselves, driving him in our Land Rover, decorating the coffin and graveside with garden flowers and filling in the garve. Our need for ‘hands-on’ involvement was completely respected, understood & supported. I am a celebrant and was very clear about what was right for myself and the family. It makes all the difference to accept and process the very deep loss of someone we loved so very much.
