When reconnoitering the site before the interment it was pouring with rain so a bit muddy & gloomy but on the day of the interment trees were coming into leaf and the sun shone; birds were singing making the whole occasion very special. Elderly mourners were taken by vehicle direct to the grave plot so didn’t have to struggle. We had the whole site to ourselves and could stay as long as we wanted.
